Short Poems - 7
If I hurt you
If I hurt you I don’t mean to
But then you’ve known that all along
When you fall your some how meant to
Like the Phoenix within the song
There’s some where out there for you to be
Its there inside you, its easy to see
With eyes to guide you, when you set your hart free
As long as there’s someone beside you
When it’s not me
A Stranger in my skies
A stranger in my skies
A familiar on my cloud
Stay a while my friend
And tell me who I am
So you want my soul
So you want my love
Take away my body and my mind
And there you go
She gleams
She gleams Colgate dreams
But then again she doesn’t
She sows Gods and crows
And indeed she might
She’s a Rock-a-Billy bitch
She’s a Rock-a-Billy bitch
There’s no hitch
She’s a right-white wax working witch
Watch out!!!
When you give her your soul
And you follow her call
And your so in love as you stumble and fall
She’s a Rock-a-Billy bitch
There’s no hitch
She’s a right-white wax working witch
She’s an American temptress
She’s an American temptress
In her fortress of fame
She is Amadeus
She’s no words so no name
She’s the ultimate release
She’s an unbelievable peace
She’s the tiers that never cease
She’s the poet’s feast
She was the folk law of the forest
The fascination of the fireside
She was the playfulness in the mystic’s eyes
She sang what Pan implied
She is that call in an empty hotel hall
She’s the poet’s confusion
Is it love or nothing, at all?
